Two of Sierra Leone’s biggest artists Ragga Spice & Shadybaby-Shadrak once best of friends now see themselves as enemies. Shady and Spice have done some of the best teaming up and stage performances in Sierra Leone music industry’s history.

Who is to be blamed in this?

Some are saying the fans and some are saying it the artists themselves and the promoters, SLMTV-BASE learned that the big guns in the industry (COOZIE, JNICE, TIMBO, THE AMBASSADOR AND OTHERS) are working to settle this matter, we hope they do because this does the industry no good.

NATASHA BECKLEY- MISS SIERRA LEONE

The people’s Ambassador and a team of family and friends are reaching out to all Sierra Leoneans to come on board and show support to Natasha Beckley (Miss Sierra Leone) on her project to contest in the Miss World Finals. As the Government is doing the best to showcase SL as a top level destination for Business and Leisure, the SL entertainment industry is also working to compliment such efforts in a bid that will make our country look good to the world.

The financial preparation of Ms. Beckley for the Ms. World pageant can’t be left alone with her family and friends and should not shoulder this responsibility by themselves alone. Preparing for an event of such magnitude is not child’s play, the financial commitment is enormous.

Family and friends with the help of the entertainment industry have decided against doing the regular fund raising dance they then came up with the idea of an Internet Radiothorn on SLMTV.

ANIS HALLOWAY FROM PROJECT FAME TO NIGERIA IDOL

Sierra Leonean musician Anis Halloway was introduced to the Nigerian audience when he was a contestant on the MTN Project Fame. The Nigeria-based singer actually started doing music in the UK, where he had a UK underground hit single titled “Eyes on Me” which sparked media interest with interviews from BBC 1xtra, RWD Magazine and Touch Magazine.

Anis is currently the host of Nigerian Idol – he has just released a new video for one of the songs on his debut album – “Small Beginnings“. The song is called “We Nor Wan Dat“
